Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of the website weareapacc.com, published by PushImpact OÜ, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia.
1. What this website is
We Are Apacc is an independent, sponsored information site. Its articles explain general rules on the State Pension and benefits, tax, savings, and the costs of home life and health in the United Kingdom. They are labelled as advertisement and sponsored content by PushImpact OÜ. The site is not provided by the government, the Department for Work and Pensions, HMRC, the Pension Service or any other public body.
2. No advice, no applications
The content is general information and does not replace personal financial, legal or tax advice. Worked examples are explicitly illustrative and are not a calculation or promise of any amount for you. You cannot make an application, claim a benefit, file a return or meet a deadline through this website, and we charge no fees. Binding information comes only from the responsible bodies, in particular DWP and the Pension Service, HMRC, the NHS Business Services Authority, the Office of the Public Guardian and your local council.
3. Accuracy and dates
We check our articles against official sources when we write them and show the date they were checked. Laws, rates and deadlines change, often each April. The current information from the responsible body always takes precedence.
4. Links to other websites
The operators of linked websites are responsible for their content. A link is not a recommendation of any commercial product or service.
5. Newsletter
The Thursday Briefing is free and optional. Signing up requires confirmation by email, and you can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every issue. All content on the website is freely available whether or not you subscribe.
6. Copyright
Text, design and images are protected by copyright. Copying or using them beyond what the law permits requires our prior consent. You are welcome to link to individual articles.
7. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the law for intent and gross negligence and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the general information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Estonia. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you normally live, such as the United Kingdom.
